Here I answer some of the most common questions patients have.

Why book a nutritionist?

  • If you are interested in becoming vegetarian, vegan or want to acquire habits to reduce your consumption of meat, eggs and dairy products

  • For dietary adequacy, regardless of choice, for pregnant women, adolescents, adults and the elderly

  • To improve quality of life and/or treat diseases (such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, obesity, multiple sclerosis, arthritis, among others)

  • To improve body composition (increase in lean mass and reduce fat percentage)

  • Improved sports performance

  • Pregnancy and lactation

  • Aesthetics, to improve skin, hair, nails, localized fat, acne, cellulite, among others.

What are the consultation steps?

Before the consultation: I send two questionnaires - one on food frequency and another on your routine;

During the reception consultation:

  • Nutritional history (when we will talk about your habits, symptoms and health history)

  • Physical assessment (weight and anthropometry)

  • Assessment of biochemical tests (through them we can assess your intake and metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals and even water)

What is the difference between online and in-person service?

The only difference is that, in the online format, we are unable to carry out the physical assessment. But this is not essential for creating a meal plan. If you've never consulted a nutritionist, I recommend starting with the online format!

How do I pay for consultations?

It can be carried out until the day scheduled for the consultation.

What payment methods are accepted?

Bank transfer, PIX and credit card via Pag Seguro.

Are you covered by the health plan?

I am not a professional affiliated with any health service provider, I only provide private services.

How do I request a refund for the consultation?

At the end of our consultation, request a receipt. This way, you can request reimbursement from your healthcare provider. On my Instagram, I posted how to request reimbursement from some health plans. Click here and see.

Preciso cancelar a consulta, como fazer?

Appointment cancellations must be made up to 24 hours in advance of the meeting date. Just contact the nutritionist via WhatsApp. When carried out after the deadline, the amount of R$40.00 will be charged for rescheduling.

How long is the consultation?

As consultas têm duração de até 60 minutos. Tenha atenção, evite atrasos e maneje bem o seu tempo.

Para o serviço "Consulta de Casais Presencial", o atendimento têm duração de 1h e 30 minutos.

What are the guidelines for physical assessment?

  • Wear light clothing (bikini/swim trunks or any other underwear you feel comfortable in) to facilitate access to the areas to be assessed.

  • Avoid a racerback top/bikini.

  • Avoid physical activities before the assessment for more accurate results.

  • Feel free to change in the office bathroom if you prefer.

  • You don't need to be fasting, but I advise the patient to try to do future assessments at the same time of day.

  • Avoid carrying out physical assessment in the pre-menstrual period

What is the frequency between appointments?

Normally, I start nutritional monitoring with monthly meetings. This way we can better assess the impact of the new eating routine as well as any difficulties encountered. It should also be said that, between appointments, we keep in touch through the Dietbox app and WhatsApp. This way we can evaluate goals without losing focus and engagement in the process of changing habits.
